The ResPower Super/Farm™ Render Farm is V-Ray enabled. This means that the Super/Farm has the full V-Ray package installed and ready to use.
V-Ray irradiance maps, light cache maps, proxies/meshes, and the like can all be read by the Super/Farm. Simply link them from “c:/respower/temp/”, and use the Super/Cache section of the Render Wizard to tell the Super/Farm to copy those files to each render node prior to rendering. See our irradiance map tutorial for details.
V-Ray output is also supported; simply set your files to output to this folder: “c:respowertempmaxoutput” Note that this is output you can get in addition to the normal 3dsmax file; you will still need to have 3dsmax render and save an output file.
